On October 14, 2019, Attorney Brent Eames served as a speaker for the Illinois State Bar Association’s Fall Workers’ Compensation Seminar. This program explored a number of key workers’ compensation issues, and was designed to instruct labor/employment attorneys and workers’ compensation practitioners with intermediate practice experience to better understand key areas of law to benefit their practices.

Attorney Eames spoke on the topic of the admissibility of electronic evidence, and social media evidence at trial. The topic included an overview of the Illinois Rules of Evidence, as well as the relevant case law for admitting and objecting to this very important evidence.
